History

Agile Screening has a rich history in the Screening Media industry.

Its roots can be traced back to the home of Wire Weaving, Warrington England where Thomas Locker first begun weaving wire for the coalfields of England.

Overtime it grew to include operations throughout Australia and New Zealand.

It originally operated under the banner of Locker Wire Weavers before becoming a business unit within the enlarged Locker Group.

The industry saw numerous iterations of change including the Locker Group purchasing well-known brands such as Melwire and Screenex as well as the development of a Joint Venture with Ashar Locker to help service the Indian market.

The team at Agile has over 420 years’ experience in the screening market. Agile by name but experienced by nature.
